DUNCAN CABLE TV’S

   NEW     “High Definition  &  Digital Standard Definition  Services”:

In July of this year, DCTV will begin taking orders for our new “Classic Cable HDXtra” Tier.  This exciting new service offers many of our Classic Cable services in HD as well as a host of new HD channels. 

Classic Cable HDXtra service features:

1.  Time Shifting of Programming  

On select services this feature enables you to restart programming on demand.

Even if you did not think/remember to record the program.  For example, if you tuned into a program, late say, 20 minutes after it began.            Retrovue  (Time Shifting) enables you to “rewind”, if you will, back to the time the show started and watch the entire program.  This feature         will be available as part of your Classic HDXtra service later this summer.

2.  DVR Service: 

Don’t own a DVR?  Our DVR feature stores your programing while allowing you to view stored/recorded content/shows, on demand, to       multiple televisions in your home.   You can record individual programs or an entire series all with a click of your remote. 

(On Demand viewing on multiple televisions in you home requires a Set-top Box at each set.)

3.  Interactive on Screen Programming Guide:

       Our programming guide provides comprehensive programming information, enabling you to make        

       informed programming selections, intuitively.  Select shows currently airing, or select programming to be    

       recorded and viewed later.

4.  Type of Television Required: 

The benefits of Classic Cable HDXtra are best realized with a newer

type flat screen LCD, LED, Plasma television or monitor.  The IPTV Set-top box we utilize has HDMI,

A/V and USB output capability.  The remote control included is compatible and programmable with

most brands of televisions. 

It is worth mentioning that if you don't have a newer, flat screen type television but would like to

receive our Classic Cable HDXtra service, and the numerous additional channels/services included,

the set-top box will work with an older set.  Though not in true HD due to the limitations of your

older television, you will receive all of the Classic Cable HDXtra channels in a crystal clear digital picture.

5.  Installing Classic Cable HDXtra:

Depending on the condition of your service drop and in home wiring,

our professional installation will typically take between 1 to 2 hours.  The technician will

make the necessary wiring upgrade and then connect and set up a new Docsis Modem as well as the

Set top box.  Each of these devices requires access to power/electricity so please keep in mind that 2

plugs/outlets will need to be available.  All connecting cables between the modem, the set top box and

your television are provided with our installation.  The set top box includes instructions and information

to assist you in programming the set top box remote control for you specific television.

6.  Equipment to be Installed at your Home or Business:

  A new Docsis Modem and IPTV set top box must be installed at each set location in order to tune in these exciting new HD services.

Modem:  A Docsis Modem is included in the installation charges and will be installed at the time the

service is setup.  This modem remains the property of and will be maintained by Duncan Cable TV.

The subscriber will be responsible for the modem if it is lost, stolen or somehow rendered unusable

as a result of neglect or improper operation.  The modem must be returned in working condition if and when the Classic HDXtra service is        discontinued.  If it is not returned in working condition, the customer agrees to pay and will be billed a replacement cost/charge of $65.00

Set-top Box:  An IPTV Set-top box is included in the installation charges and will be installed at the time the service is setup.  This Set-             top box remains the property of and will be maintained by Duncan Cable TV.  The subscriber will be responsible for the Set-top box if it is           lost, stolen or somehow rendered unusable as a result of neglect or improper operation.  The Set-top box must be returned in working                condition if and when the Classic HDXtra service is discontinued.  If it is not returned in working condition, the customer agrees to pay and         will be billed a replacement cost/charge of $165.00.

7.  Tenants:

       All tenants at the time service is requested, shall place a $150 deposit in addition to paying

standard installation charges to install Classic HDXtra.  These charges are due in advance of the actual

installation.
